Gavin Butterworth
Since his first vineyard tour in New Zealand, 1999, Gavin has followed wine with a passion and used every opportunity to broaden his knowledge and understanding of the subject. In 2004 he realised his enthusiasm for wine extended beyond a leisure interest and began to undertake the requirements necessary to re-direct his career.
He has been on many vineyard tours around the world including Spain, Italy, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and a 3 month tour of vineyards in France including Nuit St. George, St Emilion, Chateau Neuf de Pape and Fleurie.
Gavin is trained to a WSET advanced level 3 with a wide range of experience including fine wine investment, wine wholesale, wine publishing and written articles for local press in the UK. He also offers the service of doing private functions and with a background in TV, he is comfortable presenting to large numbers and on screen.
